On August 7—9, PMHUB hosted a two-day online Universal Sports & Games Hackathon (#USGH). The event was dedicated to gaming and gaming services and was organized for active people who want to generate ideas and create new products despite the pandemic. The prize fund was $3000.
The winners included:
1st place — RunOut, a runner-platformer with logical elements ($1500);
2nd place — Narwhal, a service for animation of sports events ($1000);
3rd place — PixelGaming, a mobile MOBA clicker game ($500).
Finalists — Team B and Kodoklyaksa ($500 each)
1st place — MyChamp, an aggregator of sports competitions, teams and sponsorship offers ($500 and a personal meeting with the Parimatch Tech team).
2nd place — Doomed, a Tower Defense game with Top Down Shooter elements.
3rd place — GRYADOCHKA, a “Neon” platform for connecting people united by the passion for gaming in all its manifestations.
In total, more than 400 people from 9 countries, including Ukraine, Germany, Spain, Belarus, and Poland, joined the hackathon. The participants submitted a total of 111 ideas, including games, streaming tools, analytics services, and various applications.
